Delivery Driver Required – Permanent Position

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Delivery Driver to join our client’s busy construction team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established company. The role will involve delivering roofing materials across the Hampshire and Dorset areas, so professionalism, good customer service, and a positive attitude are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time, while representing the company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operating a company delivery vehicle
• Delivering roofing and construction materials across Hampshire and Dorset
• Loading and unloading materials when required
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Working closely with the warehouse and operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day running

Requirements:

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting when required
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience within construction or builders merchants would be advantageous but not essential

Details:

Salary: £27,000 per annum plus holiday pay
Working Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Deliveries covering Hampshire & Dorset
